| 2007/09/21 14:06 | PERMALINK | EDIT | REPLY |Fantastic! This is most close to commercial software for this utilization I have used before but it's free. :-D
Thanks Wiziple!

| 2007/09/22 00:19 | PERMALINK | EDIT | REPLY |It's a really good software, maybe better than some commercial ones.
To make it better, more annotation tools would be very helpful. Such as "arrow" is often used in annotation mode.
And is it possible change the text annotation in such a way that the added notes will not "merged" into the captured picture immediately after exit edit mode but make it a temperate object so that the user can fine tune the position or edit its property (outlines/fonts...) before merge it into the picture?

Could PicPick disable something to avoid this?
Jason
| 2007/12/10 09:39 | PERMALINK | EDIT | REPLY |It's very good! But I found one bug (maybe). When I select a multi-layer menu, the software cannot capture the menu I select.

| 2008/02/06 05:49 | PERMALINK | EDIT | REPLY |I compared a lot of screen-capture programs and i have to say that PicPick is really good.
I do have some feature requests though:
1. Annotation tools. See also:
http://www.colorpilot.com/annotation.html
2. Drop-Shadow. See also:
http://pptblog.tlccreative.com/media/SoftShadow_1.jpg
3. When you click on the "Capture Region" entry in the tray menu, the cross-hair for selecting the area immediately comes to front and you can start selecting the area you want to capture right away.
It would be much better if the cross-hair would not come to font immediately, but only comes to front when the Print-Screen key is pressed.
You may wonder why, but it is really simple.
Let's say you open an application and click on the "file" menu. Then the File menu of that application becomes visible.
If i would want to capture this file menu i then right click on the PicPick traymenu icon to go to the "Capture Region" entry.
The problem is that as soon as you rightclick on the PicPick traymenu icon, the file menu that i had opened disappears, so i can no longer capture this file menu.
If the crosshair would only comes to front when i would push the Print-Screen key, i would have been able to capture that file menu without any problems.

| 2008/02/06 05:54 | PERMALINK | EDIT | REPLY |I think i found a small bug which occurs when you have a dual monitor setup
Sometimes when i rightclick the PicPick traymenu icon and then click on "Open PicPick Image Editor" the image editor opens on my left monitor instead of on my main screen, which is on my right monitor.

| 2008/02/09 04:29 | PERMALINK | EDIT | REPLY |I have 2 more feature requests:
1. Select multiple output types at the same time.
I noticed that it is possible with PicPicker to output the captures screenshot to:
- the PicPick Editor
- the clipboard
- being asked to save the screenshot somewhere
- To have all your screenshot auto saved to a folder.
What would be really confinient if you could choose not one, but multiple outputs.
Wouldn't you agree that is would come in very handy if you would be able to, for example, capture to the editor (good overview) and at the same time capture to the clipboard (so you can immediately paste it in word) and also have the screenshot saved to a folder (for backup)?
Also, with the screencapture tool Gadwin Printscreen this is all possible.
2. Customizable traymenu. So you can put your most frequently used capture methods (capture region, capture active window, etc.) as first available entries in the traymenu. This makes them much easier to reach.
